THE NEWS BUNDLE: Mark Wahlberg Says 'Ted 2' Aiming for Production Later Next Year, 'Transformers 4' to Kick Off in May

With Ted making its way to home video this week, the original feature walked out of the summer slate as the number one R-rated comedy with big box office returns for both producer Media Rights Capital and distributor Universal Pictures. As Fall came, Universal revealed a sequel was in the works as fast as possible but with early development it was unclear how long we would have to wait until we saw the foul-mouthed teddy bear back on the big screen. Now it seems a year from now might be the goal as one lead actor reveals he’s making plans to ship up to Boston for the follow-up in late 2013.
